Nobody ever became literate in any language, native or foreign, without reading and absorbing literary texts in progressive levels over extensive periods of time.

"AudioBOOKS" are TEXT & VOICE multi-dimensional tools empowering intermediate and advanced students and self-learners, in and out of class, to experience and master literary texts.

Most audio recordings are available with full transcriptions. If a novel is recorded in part it is generally from the beginning chapter(s)and these are complete. Works are never edited or abridged. It must be easy for the student to follow the text word-for-word.

An "AudioBook" as we define it for purposes of language acquisition/ study consists of an audio recording plus a written transcript. Interlingua has made every effort to supply printed texts to accompany our recordings. This slows down our production and the growth of our title offerings.

The Internet has a growing number of downloadable texts in all languages we publish including Russian. We encourage you to use these and not order texts from us.

Please note that prices of most titles include US$9.50 -10.00 for printed texts/ transcripts. Our prices are generllythe same for hard cover books, paperbacks, xerox copies, or texts on CDs. We encourage you to save money and postage by not ordering these printed texts/ transcripts from us but rather simply to download and print from the below sites. Titles in Cyrillic/ Russian language present special problems and we will continue to supply printed transcriptions or texts on floppy disks in PDF format.
